WINTER

Ski at 4 Vallées

Chalet d'Arby gives you access to “4 Vallées” which combines more than 412km of ski runs and 92 ski lifts linking the resorts of Verbier, La Tzoumaz and Bruson, as well as Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon. The highest point in the area is the Mont-Fort glacier (3.330 m).

Runs for all levels criss-cross the amazing surroundings in this winter sports’ paradise with its modern infrastructure and guaranteed snow.

4 Vallées is suitable for all levels of skiers. There is adequate space for beginners with the nursery slope located close to the chalet. Almost immediately, first time skiers can get the feel of some high altitude skiing in a safe and sound environment.

Intermediate skiers will find the skiing on the Tracouet slopes, close to the chalet, a dream. At the end of a hard day’s skiing you will find your way through pine forests right to the door of the chalet.

For better skiers, Nendaz really comes into its own. Highlighted by Mont Fort at over 3,000m, with a near vertical descent onto the glacier (allowing summer skiing here as well), Nendaz offers challenge and variety in just about every nook and cranny. Bumps, powder, unpisted and untested, it's all within the borders of this vast ski domain.

There are a huge number of really challenging runs ensuring it is known by expert skiers far and wide, as one of the most difficult skiing resorts anywhere. For the advanced skier who wants a challenge try the mogul runs and the descents of Tortin and Col de Mines, or the world famous freeride descent of Vallon d'Arby, which gives its name to the chalet.

The resort is popular with families, having a natural ice rink and a heated swimming pool.
