Getting there

Nendaz is located 162 km south-east of Geneva Airport. After Lausanne and Montreux, the route cuts south through the narrow valley floor beside the Rhône River to Martigny. Another 20 km east on the motorway along the valley brings you to Sion and then a short scenic climb of a few kilometres up to the resort. The whole journey takes about 1 hour 45 minutes by car.

Snowjet operates a winter service between Standsted to Sion. From Sion it's 13 km to the chalet.

Another option is to use the integrated SBB Swiss public transport system. The train journey from Geneva Airport to Sion requires 1 change to a local train at Martigny. Including the resort shuttle bus ride at the end, travel time is about 3 hours.

If using your own car do ensure it's equipped with winter tyres and there's a set of snow chains in the boot. It's also worthwhile practising with the chains first at home if you've never fitted them before.
